Donating Your Scrap Car Today

Cars For Training has been supplying scrap cars to Surrey Fire and Rescue Service for over 20 years. Firefighters are seeking old scrap cars to help them practice rescuing people from road traffic accidents. Each year, fire and rescue services respond to hundreds of road traffic incidents. By donating your unwanted scrap car or vehicle, you can assist the entire Surrey Fire Service in preparing for these life-saving situations. These vehicles are used at local fire stations and at the Surrey Fire and Rescue Services headquarters in Reigate, where new recruits undergo training.

The Fire Service uses these scrap vehicles to stay up-to-date with the latest rescue techniques, ensuring they can respond effectively when attending road traffic accidents. New recruits receive hands-on training using the latest cutting tools and methods. There is always a high demand for scrap vehicles, including cars, vans, and motorcycles, to keep this essential training ongoing.

Your donated vehicles can also be used for public fire service demonstrations at events like air shows and other events including local fetes. In addition, these cars are used for the Fire Service’s Road User Awareness Days (RUAD), held at schools in Surrey and nearby areas, to educate children about road safety and the dangers of reckless driving.

For your peace of mind, a certificate of destruction is always provided to confirm that your vehicle is no longer in use. This ensures that your donated car is disposed of responsibly.
